My recipe for an almond crusted baked sea bass is a must-try for any fish-lover. The recipe is easy to put together and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
Almond crusted baked sea bass
2 fillets of sea bass
2 cups of goat yogurt
3 tbsp of pineapple serrano hot sauce (or 2tbsp of sriracha)
Juice of 1 lemon
2 teaspoons of honey or blue agave syrup
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of coffee rub spice mix
½ cup of sliced toasted almonds
Mix the goat yogurt, hot sauce, lemon juice, honey, 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of coffee rub spice mix. Let sit for about 5 minutes. In the meantime, pat the fillets dry and rub both sides with a mix of 1 tbsp of spice mix and 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour half of the yogurt mixture at the bottom of the baking dish, place fillets on top and cover with the remaining half of the yogurt mixture.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 3 hours. Preheat the oven to 380 degrees. Position the rack in the center of the oven. Remove the baking dish from the refrigerator and uncover. Spread the sliced toasted almonds over the fish fillets.
Place the baking dish into the oven. Bake for about 20 minutes. Switch the oven to broiler and broil for about 2 minutes to until almonds are golden brown.
Serve with your favorite sides.
